Truck Mechanic

Davidson Contract Services is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Review work orders and estimate parts and labor costs
- Perform scheduled maintenance service and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
- Experience with diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
