Job Title: Technical Staff Engineer - Analog Design

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, simulating, and validating analog integrated circuits (ICs) as part of our Analog IP team. This role requires a strong background in analog IC design, with experience in designing high-speed, low-jitter PLLs and high-speed custom digital circuits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design specific analog IP blocks in collaboration with analog design lead and architects
  • Simulate analog circuits across process corners and operating conditions
  • Model design blocks to be included on top-level mixed-signal simulations
  • Block-level validation of process silicon devices and system-level lab evaluation
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in analog IC design
  • Strong knowledge in Cadence IC design flow and tools
  • Expertise in the system design of mixed-signal circuits is desirable
  • Knowledgeable in Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation
  • Experience in mixed-signal design in geometries in CMOS 0.13um, 40nm, 28nm, and smaller CMOS geometries is desired
  • Some understanding of the principles of root cause analysis, design for manufacturability
  • Familiarity with design for test of mixed-signal devices is desired
  • Experience working with a multi-site team is desirable
  • Good communication and documentation skills
