Job Overview

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.

Work Environment

Candidates must be willing to relocate and may work in settings such as hospitals or facilities for the elderly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients during outdoor recreational activities.
  • Assist in cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment.
  • Support the maintenance and repair of medical devices.
  • Perform various duties related to patient care and comfort.
  • Provide personal care assistance.
  • Manage bedpans and assist with feeding patients.
  • Help with lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patients' rooms.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines.
  • Keep track of inventory supplies.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Transport patients between care facilities.
  • Safely transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Respond to call signals to address patients' needs.
Certifications Required
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
