About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rail vehicles, including brakes, engines, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with rail equipment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Technician with Canadian National Railway, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in automotive repair or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
