About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rail vehicles, including brakes, engines, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with rail equipment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Technician with Canadian National Railway, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work in a garage or outdoor setting, and may be required to relocate for this position.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in automotive repair or maintenance is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Willingness to relocate for this position.
