About the Role

Our warehouse in Peterborough plays a crucial role in the storage, dispatch, and receipt of materials for construction projects across Canada. Additionally, it ensures the provision of tools and equipment necessary for these projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and categorize materials efficiently;
  • Verify technical documentation upon receipt;
  • Maximize storage space within the warehouse;
  • Prepare shipping documentation accurately;
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and make necessary adjustments in the system;
  • Coordinate the repair and disposal of materials;
  • Execute transactions in the inventory management system;
  • Procure tools as needed for site mobilizations;
  • Operate equipment, including forklifts;
  • Perform general warehouse tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completion of Secondary or Post-Secondary education;
  • Experience in industrial construction;
  • Familiarity with industrial tools is advantageous;
  • Strong sense of urgency and organizational skills;
  • Proficient data entry skills;
  • Forklift operation certification;
  • Experience with MS Office applications;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Prior experience in warehouse and administrative roles is beneficial;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Self-motivated and proactive;
  • Able to troubleshoot effectively;
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask;
  • Team-oriented mindset;
  • Good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 45 lbs and climbing stairs frequently;
  • Knowledge of the French language is an asset.
