Job Title: Floor Covering Foreman/Woman

System One Floor Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Covering Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, estimating costs and materials, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Work Environment

Our team works outdoors, in noisy and dusty conditions, and is involved in various locations, including construction, installation, commercial, industrial, residential, and service settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate installation teams to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
