About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Floor Covering Supervisor to join our team at System One Floor Solutions Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of floor coverings in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Installation Teams
    • Lead and manage a team of floor covering installers and labourers to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
    • Coordinate and schedule installation activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Estimate and Manage Resources
    • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all team members follow health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Communicate with Clients and Stakeholders
    • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory or coordination role in the construction or installation industry.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
