About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at KCMA Foods Ltd. O/A Canadian Pizza Unlimited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food quantities used, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing stockouts.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Supply Handling: Handle and store cleaning products, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and perform other equipment maintenance tasks as required.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring proper food handling and preparation techniques.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively in English, our primary language of work.
