Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Training: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Resource Planning: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets and cost estimates to manage operational expenses.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Order Management: Prepare summaries of food orders for the chef.
- Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee and verify the assembly of food trays.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Qualifications- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
