Job Description

Job Summary:


• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the HR Manager across all human resources functions.


• Manage and actively engage in the complete recruitment process.


• Deliver exceptional service to all staff by professionally addressing all inquiries and concerns.


• Aid in the execution of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs.


• Effectively monitor all daily human resources activities to align with departmental and organizational objectives.


• Provide sound advice on legal matters and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws.


• Support our branches across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in the development and evaluation of organizational structures within supported divisions, acting as a catalyst for cultural change.


• Oversee the full recruitment cycle for designated roles, including job profile creation, sourcing methods, candidate selection, interviews, background checks, and offer presentations.


• Support payroll processing, ensuring accurate tracking of vacation and sick leave.


• Respond to employee inquiries promptly and effectively.


• Establish and maintain accurate employee records and databases.


• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.


• Assist in the formulation and enhancement of HR policies and procedures.


• Support our branches across the United States.


• Contribute to various HR projects and responsibilities as assigned.


• Serve as the primary contact for all HR administrative inquiries.


• Participate in the annual performance review process and succession planning initiatives.


• Organize and maintain HR documentation and correspondence with relevant government agencies.


• Assist in ensuring compliance with both state and federal employment laws.

Qualifications:


• A university degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.


• 2-4 years of experience in human resources as a generalist (CPHR designation is a plus).


• A passion for working in a dynamic environment, with a readiness to lead and foster growth opportunities.


• Prior experience and/or knowledge of US employment regulations.


• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.


• A commitment to ongoing professional development and career advancement.


• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both oral and written.


• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships internally and externally.
