Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at Ross Road School. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading our before and after school programs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of staff members in the before and after school programs
  • Develop and implement engaging recreational programs for students
  • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of students in our care
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve program goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in the child care field
  • Knowledge of recreational programming and child development principles
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent

Assets:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of High Five, First Aid/CPR, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, and Fundamental Movement Skills
