We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Section Director - Investment Operations. As a key member of our Investment Operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the delivery of our investment services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of +/- 15 auxiliary employees responsible for account opening and documentation management
- Ensure the smooth running of operations, timely and efficient handling of files, and mobilize team members
- Mobilize and manage human resources to achieve business plan objectives
- Ensure workflow meets service productivity and quality objectives, and compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
- Monitor support activities and implement controls to maximize efficiency and quality of operations
- Conduct or oversee various analyses, research, or special projects impacting profitability and efficiency of the Bank
- Establish and maintain effective communications with stakeholders involved in section activities
- Ensure development and updating of employees' knowledge through personalized coaching
- Implement and monitor development plans
You will be part of a large team of +/- 40 colleagues within the IT Operations sector, reporting to the Director, Account Opening & Documentation Management, Investment Operations. Our team is known for its dynamism, collaboration, and commitment to serving clients well.

- Industry-related bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 2 years of experience OR University certificate and 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in people management and coaching
- Experience in banking and investment is essential
- Ability to plan and organize work according to volume, resources, and priorities
- Knowledge of investment products and brokerage accounts is desirable
- Experience in process and operations optimization is a strong asset
