Veterinary Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and delivering a high standard of service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the management of urgent care and provide wellness & preventative care to companion animals and exotic species.
- Participate in providing anesthesia for both elective and emergency surgery, and oversee patient recovery.
- Conduct physical examinations, patient assessments, and catheter placements, and monitor anesthesia.
- Prepare and assist with surgical procedures, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Problem-solve and ask clarifying questions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and clients.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional service and promote a positive work environment.
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
- Technical skills and knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
