About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Precious Migration and Education Consultancy. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team members and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Lead a team of 1 to 2 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, schedule appointments, manage contracts, and perform data entry.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Organizational Skills: Compile data, statistics, and other information, order office supplies, and maintain inventory.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
  • Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, team player, accurate, client-focused, reliable, and time management skills.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.

  • Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week
