Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

U V CONN INC. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and use sales forecasting software to track sales performance
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and resolve product and service related problems
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work setting: Urban area
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
  • Sales experience: Consulting services, Electrical and electronic equipment, Telecommunications equipment and services
  • Security and safety: Basic security clearance
  • Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Attention to detail
  • Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Organized, Reliability, Team player
