Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at U V CONN INC. as a key member of our sales team.

Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and use sales forecasting software
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Resolve product and service related problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales and business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
  • Basic security clearance
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week
