Job Title: HR Business Partner

At Johnston Group Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic HR guidance to business leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive employee engagement, culture, and performance.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate selection, and onboarding.
  • Lead projects to enhance the overall effectiveness of HR focus areas.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address HR-related issues.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Human Resources Certificate (CPHR preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize work based on business demands.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and French.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task.
