Veterinary Operations Manager

Vetetnous is a multidisciplinary team composed of veterinarians, general practitioners, and high-level specialists, whose mission is to care for our clients' pets as if they were our own. Our teams are divided into three 24/7 emergency and referral centers, as well as several hospitals and general practice clinics in the Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, and Quebec regions.
Key ResponsibilitiesManagement- Participate in the recruitment process for veterinarians
- Monitor the integration of new veterinarians and provide appropriate training
- Plan and conduct performance evaluations of team members
- Contribute to the development of veterinarian schedules
- Manage daily operations with team members
- Train and motivate key team members
- Coordinate annual leave requests
- Identify training needs and plan activities with the regional medical director
- Promote adherence to best medical practices
- Develop and update operational protocols
- Plan, facilitate, and follow up on team meetings
- Manage pharmacy and medications
- Identify and implement medical operations plans to ensure progress and continuous improvement
- Support regional initiatives for VCA Canada
- 4 hours per week
