Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Flatbed Specialist to join our team at 11697102 CANADA INC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country in a flatbed truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and protected.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid passport.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in flatbed trucking.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: On-the-road job, with frequent travel and overnight stays.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
