Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and handling dangerous goods.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on cargo and transportation.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in flatbed transportation.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: On-the-road job, with extended periods of travel and overnight stays.
  • Workload: Large workload, with overtime required at times.
