Role Overview
GSL Education is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dedicated Student Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our education support team, you will play a pivotal role in providing dedicated support to a specific student with unique learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the classroom teacher and other professionals to implement a personalized learning plan tailored to the student's needs.
- Provide one-to-one support to the student, fostering a positive and supportive relationship to promote their well-being and engagement.
- Monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
- Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
