Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our care team at Applefest Lodge. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks, including food preparation, menu planning, and inventory management.
- Food Service: Ensure that meals and snacks are served in a timely and efficient manner, and that residents' dietary needs are met.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the management of food and supply inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Director of Food Services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
