Bilingual Pre-Board Screening Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security of passengers and luggage at airport checkpoints
  • Deliver information with professionalism and integrity
  • Verify the validity of boarding passes
  • Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technologies to inspect baggage for prohibited items
  • Safeguard restricted areas
  • Rigorously enforce all security regulations

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Ability to obtain transport security clearance with no unrehabilitated criminal record
  • Proficient in both English and French (verbal and written)
  • Capable of meeting ACSTA medical standards
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, days, late evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
