Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain passenger and luggage security at airport checkpoints
  • Deliver information with professionalism and integrity
  • Verify the validity of boarding passes
  • Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other equipment to inspect luggage for prohibited items
  • Safeguard restricted areas
  • Rigorously enforce all security regulations

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Ability to obtain transport security clearance with no unrehabilitated criminal record
  • Proficient in both English and French (spoken and written)
  • Must meet ACSTA medical standards
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
