About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Airport Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Airport Security Services. As a Pre-Board Screening Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff at our airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints efficiently and effectively
  • Provide professional and courteous information to passengers and staff
  • Verify valid boarding passes and ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security technology to detect prohibited items
  • Protect restricted areas and maintain a high level of vigilance at all times
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
  • Be able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a clean criminal record
  • Have fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Meet the CATSA medical requirements
  • Have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year
  • Be available to work any shift as required by the airport operation
