Position Overview

Join Eagle Freightways Inc. as a Long-Haul Transport Operator, where you will play a vital role in the logistics and transportation sector.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate as part of a two-person driving team or in a convoy.
  • Efficiently load and unload cargo.
  • Operate and navigate both straight and articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials.
  • Monitor vehicle conditions and conduct inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other essential equipment.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Possession of an AZ class driving license is required.
Documentation Skills
  • Familiarity with accident or incident reporting.
  • Ability to complete trip reports.
Types of Freight and Equipment
  • Experience with dry bulk and refrigerated transport.
Travel Experience
  • Experience in long-haul and short-haul transportation.
