Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, utilizing GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure efficient route planning.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience: Will train, with a focus on long-haul transportation and customer service.
  • Work Environment: On-the-road job, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
