About the Role

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
    • Develop and maintain individualized care plans, ensuring that residents receive timely and accessible admission, transfer, and discharge services.
  • Ensure a Safe and Healthy Environment
    • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
    • Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues
    • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and address concerns.
  • Meet Regulatory Requirements
    • Ensure compliance with relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation and regulations.
  • Medical Clearance, including but not limited to TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.
