About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Architect to join our team at Banque Nationale. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data architectures that meet those needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, platforms, and tools to support data solutions.
  • Identify integration patterns, such as APIs, streaming, MSA, containerization/serverless, to enable scalability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to solve complex problems and deliver composable architectures.
  • Act as a data steward, responsible for data identification, cataloging, quality, traceability, and documentation.
  • Design and implement cloud-native or hybrid solutions using AWS services, such as Serverless and containers.
  • Develop and implement robust security measures to protect data, applications, and systems, ensuring compliance with data security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, presenting and explaining technical solutions while leading and mentoring a team of developers throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, with 10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in computer science, with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a data architect, with a focus on complex, large-scale solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of technologies and tools, including ODS, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Power Designer, Collibra, and AWS services.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cloud computing.
  • Certification in AWS Solution Architect Associate and/or Professional is required.
