Data Solutions Architect

Lightspeed is experiencing rapid growth on a global scale and is in search of a dedicated Data Solutions Architect to become a vital part of our Data Office.
We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Data Solutions Architect with over 7 years of experience in a comparable position. This role involves collaborating with essential data stakeholders within the organization to provide architectural direction and support. We value individuals who have crafted innovative data solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
Ideal candidates will possess:
A robust background as a Data Solutions Architect, with a natural ability to implement intricate data solutions in a multi-cloud setting. If you excel in Data Solutions & Data Management capabilities, particularly in the context of lead-to-cash processes (marketing, sales, finance, etc.), are a strong collaborator, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Contributions to Data Architecture
Develop data principles, standards, management processes, and quality practices. Create and maintain a data service catalog, data exchange interfaces, and service implementation standards across CRM, ERP, and payment systems. Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and regulatory processes (SOX, GDPR, etc.). Collaborate with data architects to contribute to data roadmaps, solutions, and models relevant to systems and applications within the e-commerce sector. Mentor data and development teams on best practices and methodologies. Be hands-on and willing to write code when necessary.Practical Application of Data Architecture and BI
Provide technical leadership in data architecture across information service systems (CRM, ERP, Payment Processors). Offer technical guidance to the data team and practitioners regarding tools and best practices. Lead data architecture, integration, and migration utilizing EDA and microservices. Help refine requirements to maintain organizational agility. Influence decisions regarding system and framework selection. Evolve solutions to meet complex data needs, employing a comprehensive range of modern technologies and techniques while leveraging design patterns to ensure minimal complexity and optimal performance. Document technical risks, architecture diagrams, and architectural decisions; ensure the quality of data-related deliverables. Provide technical recommendations on data storage and infrastructure.Qualifications:
Expertise in data architecture, data lakes, and analytics. Practical experience within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. Advanced proficiency in SQL. Experience managing data in SaaS-based CRM and ERP solutions such as Salesforce and NetSuite, with a thorough understanding of lead-to-cash data structures. Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues and make informed decisions. Excellent collaboration, accountability, and communication abilities. In-depth technical knowledge of architecture and data patterns; understanding how to achieve non-functional qualities in design. Ability to stay updated with technologies in the enterprise applications landscape. Familiarity with various database types and a deep understanding of distributed data concepts (replication, partitioning, transactions, etc.). Comprehensive understanding of microservices and RESTful integration; experience with data fabric and integration tools such as Talend, Informatica, Fivetran, and Mulesoft. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.Additional Preferred Qualifications:
