**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Architect to join our team at the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. As an Architectural Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager in leading project team members to produce working drawings, building permits, and construction drawings.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the preparation of design development packages
  • Work with production teams to assign, delegate, and review drawing packages
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants, engineers, and prepare technical working drawings
  • Lead small to intermediate size teams to complete projects
  • Work with clients and user groups to develop concepts during schematic design and design development meetings
  • Organize and lead user groups and client stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare meeting minutes and project schedules
  • Assist in Contract Admin services such as the review of shop drawings and preparation of site instructions

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 6-8 years related project experience focused on high-rise projects
  • Experience producing a range of deliverables like working drawings, building permits, construction drawings within a deadline-driven environment
  • Past experience supporting Project Manager and having a leadership role within production teams is a plus
  • Experience working with and coordinating with project Specialists/Consultants and Engineers
  • Good skills related to the Construction Administration process
  • Proficient working with Revit

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams on large complex projects
  • High level of accuracy, be detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a range of professionals
  • Aware of Building Code
