As a Summer Sales Development Intern, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and developing business relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and Proactively Call on Customer List: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our customers' needs and preferences, and proactively call on them to drive sales growth and develop business relationships.
- Record and Maintain Customer Information: Accurately record and maintain customer information, including sales progress and customer interactions.
- Support Demonstration Site Tours and Grower Events: Assist in planning and executing demonstration site tours and grower events to showcase our products and services.
- Lead Field Scale Project and Scouting Fields: Collaborate with growers and other stakeholders to lead field scale projects and scouting fields to gain technical understanding of our product line.
- Communicate and Collaborate with Growers, Retailers, and BASF Staff: Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, retailers, and BASF staff to drive business growth and enhance relationships within the industry.
- Travel within Assigned Territory: Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers, attend events, and conduct business activities.
- Current Enrollment in Agriculture or Related Degree Program: Currently enrolled in an agriculture or related degree program.
- Passion for the Industry: Passionate about the agriculture industry and committed to developing sales and business management skills.
- Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
