Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roads Superintendent to join our team at Green Infrastructure Partners. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and traffic activities on our active projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise the construction and maintenance activities on our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate workers and equipment to crews and projects, planning and supervising specific placement for effective and efficient accomplishment of work.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and review construction and maintenance work in progress and upon completion to assure compliance with prescribed standards.
  • Training and Development: Instruct crew workers in the safe and effective methods of construction, repair, and maintenance.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate, evaluate, and take or recommend action in response to complaints of hazardous or poor road and/or bridge conditions.
  • Record Keeping: Supervise the maintenance of time and equipment records.
  • Budgeting: Assist in preparing budget estimates and participate in the selection of road crew members.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Participate in disciplinary actions related to crew members.
  • Public Communication: Communicate with the public regarding construction and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Construction Management is required.
  • Experience: Experience with MTO projects and 2+ years of experience in a related role.
  • Certifications: MTO book 7 on 400 series is needed.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience in AFP/P3 Design-Build projects, results-driven with a focus to deliver success in a fast-paced environment, outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
