Key Responsibilities- Support a designated portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive business retention and growth.
- Review accounts at renewal, taking the necessary steps to place coverage required by the client, re-marketing when necessary, and adhering to binding authority set by carriers.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads and working with Account Executives to bind clients.
- Stay up-to-date on new products and policy changes, consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge.
- Collaborate with fellow team members, providing reception backup and answering incoming calls as needed.
- Manage the reception area to maintain a professional image, greeting and advising visitors as required.
- 1-2 years of experience in Auto insurance, preferably in a brokerage environment.
- FOI & IWS Certification required.
- Level 1 licensing considered a strong asset for the role.
- CAIB, CIP or CRM designations considered an asset for the role.
- Knowledge of EPIC an asset.
