Position Overview:

The role of the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations is crucial in driving the strategic initiatives of the marketing organization. This position involves collaborating closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and various marketing leaders to prioritize and execute key marketing initiatives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior marketing leadership to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Establish and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Marketing Operations team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Oversee the annual marketing budget planning process, ensuring comprehensive and strategic financial planning.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in steering significant business initiatives from conception through execution.
  • Manage and facilitate major cross-functional marketing projects, addressing potential challenges proactively.
  • Engage with senior leadership to secure necessary support and resources for project initiation and execution.
  • Offer strategic insights to the CMO and marketing leadership on growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison for internal communications on behalf of the CMO.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the marketing team and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate risks associated with critical business decisions and provide informed recommendations.
  • Plan and execute special projects with a focus on strategic oversight and support.
  • Coordinate executive-level meetings and workshops with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by capturing and sharing lessons learned from project executions.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, marketing strategy, operations, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams collaboratively.
  • Professional integrity and solid business acumen.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience in preparing materials for executive-level decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
