About the Role

VPI Employment Services is a leading provider of employment services, dedicated to supporting job seekers and employers in Ontario. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Manager to join our team in Oshawa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Director, Employment Services, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and completing administrative tasks.
  • Assist with project management, coordinating with team members and tracking progress to achieve project goals.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including branch managers, community partners, and leadership team.
  • Provide backup support to the Branch Manager role in absences.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and resolve complex issues.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, executives, team members, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Adapt to changing needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals, utilizing strong time management skills.
  • Proficiently utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to support daily tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment services and programs administered through Employment Ontario.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with managers, executives, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
