Alta Equipment Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a sales strategy for your territory to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Manage all aspects of your assigned territory, including identifying key accounts, prospecting for new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that meet their requirements.
- Forecast sales volumes and track sales performance within your territory. Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer support within your territory.
- At least five years' experience in a similar equipment sales role dealing with senior business decision makers in the market.
- Verifiable track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Experience managing a high volume of accounts.
- A driven, hardworking account manager who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and places customers first.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A University or College Education preferred.
- Sales and Account Management training is an asset.
