Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our team at Saint-Jérome Mitsubishi. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic and Repair: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair issues with air conditioning and heating systems, brake systems, electrical and electronic systems, emission systems, engines, fuel injection systems, and hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • Programming and Calibration: Program and calibrate Engine Control Modules (ECMs), Powertrain Control Modules (PCMs), and Engine Control Units (ECUs).
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers are satisfied with the work performed and their overall experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician Apprentice and 1 year of experience as a Mechanic/Technician.
  • Education: Completion of a recognized automotive training program.
  • Certifications: Competency card CPA (Apprentice 1st, 2nd, 3rd years).
  • Soft Skills: Dynamic, organized, and team-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
