About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our high-performing manufacturing team in Montreal. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electronic and electrical components and cable harnesses on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assembly for electronic or electrical components and cable harnesses in accordance with work instructions and regulations.
  • Signal damages to wiring if they occur during installation.
  • Check and assess for completeness and correctness of tools, materials, and documentation.
  • Exemplify a safety-first mind-set and ensure compliance with GKN Health, Safety, and Environment policies and standards.
  • Uphold the exceptional quality of GKN Fokker Elmo standards and maintain positive team relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience in wire harness assembly within a relevant industry (aerospace or automotive manufacturing desirable).
  • Diploma from an accredited school in Electrical Cabling or Avionics.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in written form) in English.
