About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our high-performing manufacturing team at GKN Aerospace. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electronic and electrical components and cable harnesses on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and electrical components and cable harnesses in accordance with work instructions and regulations.
  • Signal any damages to wiring during installation.
  • Check and assess tools, materials, and documentation for completeness and correctness.
  • Ensure compliance with GKN Health, Safety, and Environment policies and standards.
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards and positive team relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience in wire harness assembly within a relevant industry (aerospace or automotive manufacturing desirable).
  • Diploma from an accredited school in Electrical Cabling or Avionics.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in written form) in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GKN experience.
  • Bilingual - French and English.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience of aerospace electrical wiring.
