Job Title: Autism Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join our team at Syed Rashid Ali. As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Job Summary:

The Autism Support Worker will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to individuals with ASD, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with ASD, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to individuals with ASD, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with ASD in their daily routines, including meal preparation and household chores.
  • Encourage and support individuals with ASD to participate in recreational activities and social events.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with ASD and their families.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
