Job Title: Autism Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join our team at Syed Rashid Ali. As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a home-based setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily living support, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management. You will also assist with medication administration, accompany clients to appointments, and engage in activities that promote socialization and independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for pets
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a home-based setting, which may involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
