Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BarBurrito. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Operations Management
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality of service.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Physical Demands
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
