Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of retail branch staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive sales, deposit, and membership growth in your assigned area.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated service delivery of products and services, including financial planning, wealth management, personal mortgages, loans, LOC's, deposits, mutual funds, insurance products, and commercial needs of members.
  • Evaluate profit/loss potential using information systems combined with personal knowledge and experience within our industry.
  • Initiate and drive in-branch campaigns designed to improve overall results.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management experience in retail banking or mortgage services, with a track record of achieving sales and deposit goals.
  • Coaching and mentorship expertise, with the ability to foster team growth and development.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Change management experience, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect, engage, and provide advice to branch teams and stakeholders.
  • Business development acumen, with experience in creating and growing positive member relationships and branch portfolios.
  • Knowledge in deposit-related products, personal lending, residential mortgages, and wealth management.
  • Excellent sales and business development ability, with success in negotiating terms and conditions with members.
