We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Planning Manager to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Planning & Projects leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of facilities strategies and projects across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of facilities planning and project initiatives, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and implement effective project management processes, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to accessibility, sustainability, and patient safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Professional designation, supplemented with 7-10 years of experience in facilities planning and project management, preferably in a large multi-site organization.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
