Job Title: Transporter - Emergency, PT (J0624-0508)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Transporter to join our Emergency Department team at North York General Hospital. As a Transporter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Emergency Department, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to medical imaging and in-patient floors
  • Transport laboratory samples and specimens to the lab
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Observe and adhere to all policies and procedures, work standards and safety regulations
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience required in continuous heavy lifting, processing of documentation through use of computers
