Job Title: Emergency Transporter - Part Time

At North York General Hospital, we are committed to excellence in patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Transporter to join our team in the Emergency Department.

Job Summary:

The Emergency Transporter will be responsible for transporting patients to medical imaging and in-patient floors, as well as transporting laboratory samples and specimens to the lab. The successful candidate will also respond to emergency situations and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to medical imaging and in-patient floors
  • Transport laboratory samples and specimens to the lab
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Observe and adhere to all policies and procedures, work standards and safety regulations
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma
  • Experience required in continuous heavy lifting, processing of documentation through use of computers

This is a Part Time Regular position, 8 hour shifts, days, evenings, and night shifts, including weekends in the Emergency Department.
