The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Underground Miner to join our Paste Crew at the Hemlo Operations in Marathon, ON. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class team and contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our Paste Crew, you will be responsible for:

  • Complying with all safety and standard operating procedures
  • Installing paste, water, air, and pump pipes
  • Installing paste bulk-heads, pumps, and reticulation
  • Checking dump valves
  • Inspecting pipe networks for leaks and damage
  • Assisting the Service Crew with ventilation duct installation
  • Operating various service and auxiliary equipment underground

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years' experience in Paste or Service Crews in underground mining
  • Ontario Hard Rock Mining Common Core
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve
  • Reactivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
