About the Opportunity:

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is seeking experienced underground miners to join our Paste Crew at the Hemlo Operations in Marathon, ON.


• Rotation of 14-shifts on / 14-shifts off (days and nights)

As a member of our Paste Crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues, while installing, maintaining, and monitoring pasting operations underground.


• Comply with all safety and standard operating procedures


• Install paste, water, air, and pump pipes


• Install paste bulk-heads, pumps, reticulation


• Check dump valves


• Inspect pipe network for leaks, damage


• Assist Service crew with ventilation duct installation


• Operate various service and auxiliary equipment underground

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience in Paste or Service Crews in underground mining

• Ontario Hard Rock Mining Common Core

• Ability to prioritize and problem solve

• Must be reactive in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to assist other crew members while being able to work independently

• Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
